Cookie policy

Strictly necessary (no consent needed)

NEXT_LOCALE — owner: Games Library — remembers the language you chose with the language selector — 1 year.

sb-…-auth-token (it may be split into several cookies ending in .0, .1…) — owner: Games Library, through Supabase, only on app.gameslibrary.app — keeps you signed in, including the session of the live demo — up to 400 days, deleted when you sign out.

Browser storage (localStorage, not cookies): gl-consent keeps your choice on this banner and gl-theme your light or dark theme, until you clear the site data; inside the app, a few interface preferences (such as the collapsed sidebar or the wishlist view). They are never sent to us.

Analytics (only with your consent)

Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager with Consent Mode v2, only on the public website (www.gameslibrary.app), to understand how it is used:

_ga — owner: Google — distinguishes visitors — 2 years.

_ga_<ID> — owner: Google — keeps the state of the session — 2 years.

Until you accept, Google receives no analytics cookies. No advertising cookies are set and advertising signals are always denied.

Third parties when you use them

Payments: checkout and the billing portal open on Stripe's own pages (buy.stripe.com, checkout.stripe.com, billing.stripe.com). Stripe sets its own cookies there for payment and fraud prevention under its policy (stripe.com/cookies-policy/legal). Stripe is not loaded on our pages.

YouTube videos: when you press play on a video guide, YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) may store its own data in your browser under Google's policies. Nothing is loaded from YouTube before you press play.

Stores: if you follow a link to a store, that store (and, for affiliate links, the affiliate network) may set cookies on its own website.

Managing consent

You choose on the banner when you first visit. You can change your mind at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page of the public website; if you reject, the _ga cookies are deleted. You can also delete cookies from your browser settings. Rejecting analytics does not limit the service.
