Why collect for GameCube
GameCube sold poorly in Europe and its mini-disc library has risen sharply in value: Nintendo games and third-party rarities are among the most sought-after titles of the 2000s. Finding complete copies in good condition is getting harder all the time.
PAL editions in Spain
The Spanish release comes in a black case with the PEGI rating and a Spanish manual; budget reissues came out as Player's Choice. Some games span two discs, such as Resident Evil 4, so check that both are included.
What to look for
- First editions versus Player's Choice.
- Complete two-disc games.
- Bundles with peripherals, such as the Game Boy Advance adapter or the bongos.
