Game Boy Color games
What the Game Boy Color games on Games Library are worth and where to find them cheapest.
Why collect for Game Boy Color
Game Boy Color is the gateway to Pokémon Gold, Silver and Crystal, which are still the most sought-after cartridges. Complete boxes are scarce and worth much more than the loose cartridge.
PAL editions in Spain
Black cartridges also work on the original Game Boy; the clear ones are Color-only. In Spain the Pokémon games came out as Edición Oro, Plata and Cristal. Watch out for fakes and for dead save batteries in cartridges with a built-in clock.
What to look for
- Complete boxes with Spanish manual.
- Genuine Pokémon games with the battery in good shape.
- Clear cartridges, exclusive to Game Boy Color.
