Why collect for Saturn
Sega Saturn sold poorly in Spain and its PAL library is small and expensive. Many of its best games never left Japan, and those that reached Europe in the console's final years were made in very small numbers.
PAL editions in Spain
European cases are tall and plastic, with the manual inside. Panzer Dragoon Saga is the textbook example of a scarce, expensive PAL game. Check that the cases aren't broken: they crack easily.
What to look for
- PAL games from 1997 and 1998, with short runs.
- Complete cases without cracks and with manual.
- Complete multi-disc games.
Most valuable

The value is the median second-hand market price of the copies registered on Games Library (standard edition, converted to euros). Store prices are the latest we've seen and may have changed.
