Why collect for Mega Drive

Mega Drive was huge in Spain in the early nineties. Most cartridges are affordable, but late-life games and those released in small numbers in Europe fetch high prices, especially when complete.

PAL editions in Spain

In Europe games came in a plastic case with the manual inside, sturdier than cardboard. Many classics were reissued with the Sega Classic banner, cheaper than the first edition. The PAL version runs at 50 Hz.

What to look for

Complete cases with manual and original cover.
First editions versus Sega Classic.
