Nintendo Switch – Modelo OLED
2021 model with a 7-inch OLED screen, 64 GB of storage, improved audio and a dock with a LAN port.
Nintendo announced the OLED model on July 6, 2021, and released it on October 8, the same day as Metroid Dread, at US$349.99. It keeps the Switch's core specifications and works with all its games and accessories. It swaps in a 7-inch 720p OLED screen, doubles storage to 64 GB, improves the audio and adds a magnesium alloy body and a wider, adjustable rear stand.
The console ships with a new dock that adds a LAN port for wired connections. It was sold with a black dock and red and blue Joy-Con, or with a white dock and white Joy-Con. Ahead of its arrival, in September 2021, Nintendo cut the original model's European price from €329.99 to €299.99. Special editions followed for Splatoon 3, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and a "Mario Red Edition" tied to Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
