PlayStation Vita PCH-2000 (Slim)
2013 revision that is 20% thinner and 15% lighter, with an LCD instead of OLED screen, 1 GB of internal storage and micro USB.
The PCH-2000 revision, known as the PS Vita Slim, launched in Japan on October 10, 2013, at ¥18,980, in Europe on February 7, 2014, and in North America on May 6, 2014, at $199 with a Borderlands 2 download and an 8 GB card. It is 20% thinner and 15% lighter than the original, weighs 219 grams and adds roughly an extra hour of battery life. It was sold only with Wi-Fi, with no 3G version.
It replaces the OLED screen with a cheaper LCD, a change that split reviewers, although most welcomed its fixes to earlier complaints about price and size. It adds 1 GB of internal storage, which cannot be used at the same time as a memory card, and a standard micro USB port for charging. The video upscaler found in the original model was removed. In Japan it came in six colors: white, black, light blue, lime green, pink and khaki.
