Why collect for Wii U
Wii U sold poorly and its physical library is small, so the games that never made it to Switch and those with small print runs hold a high value. It's a cheap console to start collecting for and a hard one to complete.
PAL editions in Spain
In Spain the cases are light blue plastic with the PEGI rating. Some games were reissued as Nintendo Selects, cheaper than the first edition. Also look out for the bundles with amiibo or with the controller that some games came with.
What to look for
- Games that were never ported to Switch.
- First editions versus Nintendo Selects.
- Bundles with amiibo, controllers or peripherals included.
